Each one’s heart crystal is unique and gives them a special magical power. Their society is utopian and benevolent in nature. And their main purpose is to bring healing to the greater world…and thus Anahata Friends came to be. I  enjoy creating from this magical, pure and heartfelt space, where I am able to hold the intention that each doll will bring healing where ever it goes.

Below is my private (now not so private) Anahata Friends story. My son loves a good story and I wrote it as though I was speaking to him. He loved it, I hope that your child will enjoy too.

The Story of Anahata Friends

Not too far from my cottage is a beautiful garden filled with sweet smelling lavender and an orchard bursting with sun warmed apples. If you walk just pass the rose bush, go over the hill and under, you will find Anahata, the enchanted forest. Anahata is known far and wide for its ancient healing crystal caverns. But its greatest treasure lies in the heart of each one born from this magical land. You see, within each Anahata forest friend is a crystal heart with its own special powers.

On the way there, you may meet Lady Merida Bunny from number 11 Lyra Lane, born with a splendid Rose Quartz heart. She spreads love and joy wherever she goes. Or perhaps you will come across her good neighbour, Sir Arthur Fox who has a protector Amethyst heart that is known to easily vanquish harmful energies. Please do introduce yourself to whomever you might meet. All here are friends, even bunnies and foxes as you can see. Peace and harmony echoes throughout the land.

Now, when you reach the wooden bridge stretching over the sparkling lily pond, stop. For directly below, atop a large golden lily is the Crystal Palace of the Anahata Kingdom. If you are wishing or in need of a special Anahata Friend with a magical crystal heart, go directly to the Palace, and make your special request. Soon, with loving hearts, they will arrive at your home and become your most cherished friend.

Anahata Friends are kind and wish to be of service to others. They are always looking for a person to love. They will never leave your side and will always keep all your secrets. They are your forever friends. They will take afternoon tea with you and listen to your wonderful tales and songs. They will hold you at night and keep you safe all day long. With their special crystal hearts, they lovingly share their gifts and will bring abundant magic to your life. And so it was, and so it is.

Idea for New Doll Collection

Recently, as I wandered through the pages of The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, the Elvish lifestyle lit a spark in my heart. In the woodland capital city of  Ellesméra, the Elves lived in harmony with nature.  With songs in their ancient language, the Elves asked the trees to grow and shape itself into houses, harps and other useful wooden items.  With all of their survival needs met, they spent their time creating music, art, poetry and honing their desired skills.

Synchronistically, my son had just completed The Hobbit by Tolkien and I was reminded of my love for Elves at Middle Earth. Here, Elves possess ethereal grace. Their immortality brings wisdom and they are highly skilled and known for their powerful magic. They also have a strong connection to nature.

Feeling deeply inspired by these utopian Elvish Kingdoms and recognising its alignment with my vision for Anahata Friends, I decided to create 12 Elves with magical Amethyst crystal hearts for my next collection. You are welcome to witness my (slow) progress on IG.
